  • No, you do not require a GP referral to book a consult. You may be referred by your GP to see a womenโ€™s health physiotherapist from their recommendation, but you do not need to see your GP to book an appointment.

  • You can book online through the link below or you can call the reception team at Gaiacology on (02) 4323 7680 to book over the phone.

  • You do not need to bring a thing unless it is useful information for the consult, i.e. referral documents, hospital discharge notes, handover letter from another practitioner, etc. You are more than welcome to bring your baby/children or loved one to the consult if needed.

  • Yes you can. Being on your period doesnโ€™t effect a vaginal examination at all. If you would prefer to defer a vaginal examination while on your period that is totally fine as well. 

  • Yes!

    • Health fund: please bring your physical or digital health fund card with you and our receptionist can claim on the spot at time of payment for you. You will then only need to pay the gap (if applicable).

    • Medicare: you may be able to obtain a Chronic Disease Management plan (CDM) from your GP which can give you up to 5 physiotherapy sessions per calendar year. Medicare will rebate a portion of the consult fee back onto your card on the spot after full payment of the consult is taken.
