KM Womenβs Health has founded and launched a new and upcoming studio space in Long Jetty:
HER MOVEMENT STUDIO
The vision of this space is to offer evidence based exercise classes for women suitable for all seasons on life, to support you during pregnancy, postpartum, menopause and everything in between,
Over the coming months, I will be gradually launching courses and classes within this space so keep your eyes peeled!
For my postnatal mums, the wait will only be short!
Her Movement Studio has just launched its first flagship course offering:
WELCOME TO
POSTNATAL FOUNDATIONS
This is a 6 week course designed to help you
REBUILD PELVIC FLOOR AND CORE STRENGTH AND CONNECTION AFTER BIRTH!
This course is suitable for postpartum women at various stages post vaginal or caesarean birth, whether it be within just weeks after having your baby or many months after!
The course includes
- Weekly exercise class led by pelvic floor physiotherapist Katey Molenaar
- Education and tips for postpartum recovery
- Optional homework exercises
It is programmed with the focus on rebuilding foundational strength and connection of your pelvic floor and core in order to help you to feel strong and confident with everyday functional movement as well as when progressing into high impact and intensity training.
Running on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10am at Her Movement Studio in Long Jetty
FIRST COURSE INTAKE: FRIDAY 20TH MARCH 10AM
COURSE PRICE: $390
Please note: A postnatal pelvic floor physiotherapy assessment is required prior to commencing this course to ensure participants are cleared and suitable for exercise. This can be booked with the KM Women's Health team, myself or physio Ashley.

Block 1: April 8th 10am (8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, 6th, 13th)
Block 2: May 20th 10am (20th, 27th, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th)
Block 3: July 1st 10am (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, 5th)
Block 4: August 12th 10am (12th, 19th, 26th, 2nd, 9th, 16th)
Block 5: September 23rd 10am (23rd, 30th, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th)
Friday Course Start Dates:
Block 1: March 20th 10am (20th, 27th, 3rd*, 10th, 17th, 24th)
Block 2: May 1st 10am (1st, 8th, 14th**, 22nd, 29th, 5th)
Block 3: June 12th 10am (12th, 19th, 26th, 3rd, 10th, 17th)
Block 4: July 24th 10am (24th, 31st, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th)
Block 5: September 4th 10am (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, 2nd, 9th)
Block 6: October 9th (9th***, 16th, 23rd, 30th, 6th, 13th)
PLEASE NOTE:
3rd* - this is Good Friday however class will run as normal this day
14th** - this week class will run on THURSDAY 14TH at 10AM instead of Friday 15th at 10am
9th*** - FRIDAY 9TH CLASS WILL RUN AT 11AM, then all weeks for the rest of this course block will be back to normal 10am
