A NOTE ON BOOKING AHEAD
Our appointments book out 4-6 weeks in advance. To make sure you get the care you need without a long gap between sessions, we recommend booking your initial consultation as well as 1-2 follow-up appointments, spacing follow-ups approximately two weeks apart. We can always make changes to these appointments following your initial consultation if required.
If you’d like to join our waitlist to be notified of any last minute appointment openings in order to get in sooner, please call Gaiacology, our Gosford clinic, on (02) 4323 7680 to be added.
Fees are reviewed periodically and subject to change. You will always be informed of the current fee at the time of booking. Payment is due on the day of your appointment via EFTPOS, credit card, or cash.
REFERRALS & HEALTH FUNDS
MEDICARE & PRIVATE HEALTH
If your GP has referred you under a Chronic Condition Disease Management (CCMP) plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to five allied health visits per calendar year. Please bring your referral to your first appointment.
MEDICARE CCMP PLAN
We are registered with most major private health funds. If physiotherapy is included in your extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate. Bring your health fund card and we will process your claim on the spot via HICAPS. A gap payment may apply.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
BLOOM PROGRAM
PREFERRED PROVIDER
CENTRAL COAST COMMUNITY WOMEN’S HEALTH CENTRE
We are proud to be a preferred provider for the Bloom Program, a government-funded initiative supporting women living with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain on the Central Coast. The program covers the cost of your initial physiotherapy consultation, giving you access to specialist pelvic health care at significantly reduced cost to get started.
After Your Initial Consultation
Ongoing management beyond your initial Bloom-funded appointment is not covered by the program. From there, you have a few options for continuing your care:
Private payment: Continue with standard consult fees at your own cost. We'll work with you to space appointments in a way that suits your budget and clinical needs
Medicare CCMP plan: If your GP has set up a Chronic Condition Management plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to five allied health visits per calendar year.
Private health insurance: If you have physiotherapy included in your extras cover, your fund may contribute to the cost of ongoing consultations. Check your level of cover beforehand.
We understand that ongoing appointments aren't always possible, whether that's due to cost, availability, or other commitments. That's why we make it a priority to ensure every Bloom patient leaves their initial consultation with a thorough understanding of their condition and a clear, practical management plan they can follow independently. Our goal is to set you up with the tools and knowledge to keep moving forward, whatever your next step looks like.
To access the Bloom Program, you will need a referral from your GP to the Central Coast Community Women's Health Centre. Once referred and accepted into the program, the centre will arrange your physiotherapy appointment with us. If you have already been referred and are booked in, simply let us know when you arrive and we will take care of the rest.
